"I come from a family that has been involved in public service for as long as I can remember. A lineage which I want to put in your service. We need to create more living wage jobs. Bedford has many historical sites which provide the community with a rich link to the past. These historical sites mean so much to the people of Bedford and need to be preserved. Additionally, as a member of Town Council I will fight to make our local government more transparent on issues and decisions facing the town. I am looking forward not only to getting elected to Town Council, but more importantly, I am looking forward to serving you as a fellow member of the community. I know what it takes to find solutions, and make them a reality."

 ISSUES

KEEP TAXES LOW

As a member of Bedford Town Council I will never vote to raise your taxes. I believe having a low tax rate and expanding the tax base throughout the community will bring in more money for necessities. Raising taxes and shrinking the tax base in the Town of Bedford will harm future growth.

BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

When The Bedford Boys were alive and went to war in service to their country the Town of Bedford was booming. There is no reason that it can't be like that again. I believe one of the best ways to honor The Bedford Boys and their incredible legacy is to make Bedford prosper. To do this we must focus on supporting and providing benefits for local businesses to grow. This will help provide more jobs and inject more cash into the local economy.

DIVERSITY

The Town of Bedford includes many cultures, races, and genders that mesh together to make the unique social fabric of our community. We must strive to be inclusive and keep Bedford a place were everyone is welcome.

TRANSPARENCY

Far too often the town council goes into closed session. This should not happen. I believe the people are the boss, and not the members of Town Council. As a member of Town Council I will vote against going into closed session every time. The people have a right to know about and attend all meetings that deal with the governance of their town. Like in any successful enterprise, the boss should not be kept in the dark.

HISTORIC PRESERVATION

The Town of Bedford is best known for The Bedford Boys and their historic sacrifice for freedom on the beaches of Normandy during D-Day. While the D-Day Memorial is a testament to their great deeds, I believe one of the best ways to honor them is to preserve the historical sites of the town they fought for, our town. This can be done without increasing the cost to our taxpayers by redistributing our town's resources and funding more efficiently.
